termination due to business slow down

Hi, good day to you sir,

I am currently working in a bank's agency Company.

Unfortunately now my Company wants to terminate my services due to business slow down and cut cost, and has given me 1 months (4 weeks) notice. But 1 month before (feb) my company have employ a staff with salary RM 3,000.00.

I would like you to advise my cause as follow :-

1) My salary is RM 2,300.00 per month ( Am I still consider covered under EA 1955 or IR)?

2) Does the company have the right to terminate me giving me by reason company business slow down?

3) Can I request for compensation?

4) On December, company have issue a letter to me stating ''should there be any changes in the business we shall give you 3 months notice'', can i request 3 mths notice or 2 months compensation from company by this letter?

5)Due to company terminate, any leave taken from me for interview, can company treat as unpaid leave"?

In the reply to your earlier queris, I think you better approach the IR Department and seek their advice. The IR is the rigth place for you to go.
