Resigned but terminated by employer

Hi, my production worker he was tender his resignation letter by giving 1 month notice, however, my boss ask him to go off immediately, so shall the company pay him in lieu since the company not accepted his 1 month notice? Please advice.

Advise that worker to go to the Labour Office and make a complaint. The company should pay indemnity.

Thanks for your advice, how about if his pay is over RM1,500? Because he pay is calculate by day, RM 80 per day.

What is his occupation? If he is a manual worker, he still can make a claim there.

My company is sofa manufacturing, he is a skill worker, helping on designer to produce sofa.

Anyway, he can go and make a complaint at the Labour Office.
