Hi Siew,

We have a staff who tenders her resignation on 9th May 2011, by serving 2 weeks notice which required in the appointment letter, her last day will be on 20th May 2011. Her superior wants to release her earlier on 16th May 2011 since she has not been doing her working seriously since she tender. She agreed to leave the company earlier and would stated that she agreed to leave on 16th May 2011in her resignation letter. The company would pay her the last paycheck according to the early release date instead of actual last day, can she sue us on this after she left our company?

Yes, the company should pay her up to 20th of May if she insists.
