Replacement Public Holiday

Hi,

On 6 Nov 2011 (Sunday) was a public holiday for Haji and replacement Public Holiday falls on Monday.

For 9 hours shift work at a call centre (working 5 days off 2 days(weekdays or weekends)), Sunday I worked so I was entitled Public Holiday In Lieu but how about Monday, I worked on that day too??

How many Public Holiday In Lieu are we entitled since our company does not practice OT?

Kindly please advice.

If you are covered by the EA, you will get one day Ordinary Rate of Pay (ORP) for working on Sunday, and 2x ORP for working on Monday, the replaced holiday.

 but we are told that we are not entitled for the replacement public holiday. it is just a normal working day for us
