Offset annual leave from Saturday,Sunday & Public Holiday

Dear Sir/ Madam

I would like to offset my annual leave in order to get an early release.

May i know offsetting of annual leave is purely calculate on weekday or weekend, is it inclusive of  Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday? I am doing 5 days work here.

To avoid the confusion, you can always arrange with your HR to clear your leave balance before you go. If you have no choice but to leave early and want to use the leave balance to offset the short notice, it may include all rest days etc.
