I have a staff who went for operation and hospitalised for 4 days. He was discharged on 22/10/2011 and was given sick leave from 19/10/2011 (admission day) to 15/11/2011. He went for check-up and given another 28 days sick leave. And on 13/12/2011, another check-up was due and another 3 weeks of sick leave was granted.

In total, for this operation, he was on sick leave for 74 days and 10 day of sick leave without hospitalization.

I know that an employee entitles of 60days of sick leave (full wages), but now his entitlement has exceed the 60 days regulation.

So, the 24 days is considered unpaid leave after deducting annual leave or still considered sick leave and entitle for wages payment?

Any sick leave beyond the employee's entitlement can be treated as no pay leave.
