hello,i've been working in my present company for about 8months.my basic pay is not over 1500.

from it,on the past public holiday like wesak, deepavali, and this upcoming X'mas i have to work.
the problem is,they didnt pay double neither substitute the day off to another date.
and the catchy part is the office&admin didnt have to work.
only the engineering and factory line are working.its like discrimination..

and another thing,on sunday if they ask me to work OT.

they only pay me my 1day salary (salary/26daypermnth)

not 1.5 or double?
is it fair?

First, make sure that wesak ay, deepavali and exmas are holidays appointed by your company. Ask your HR. If those are not the company's holidays, they are just ordinary working days for you.

For working on Sunday, if you work only during normal hours, you should only get one day salary extra.
