Hi, i have a friend that wish to apply VSS from her company and her company has announced to all employees that the retrenchment package by paying notice in lieu, bonus & etc. Anyhow, her superior has personally discussed with her that she will only approved her VSS if she willing to work for the notice period compare to others that can leave the company in Jan. In this context, the company is not willing to pay her the notice in lieu. Can the company do this to her?
