Employer's right to reject annual leave application

Hi,

Can i know to what extend does an employer has right to reject annual leave application by employees? To be more precise, if an employee would like to apply for annual leave for the coming festive season, does the employer has the right to reject it? Thanks.

Both sides have they own interest or reasons. Hard to say. The best way is for the parties to discuss find a suitable solution. Ask the Labour Office for help if there is no choice.
