Dear Sir/Madam.
My query is that if an employee has a salary exceeding RM3,000 and is still contributing to Socso scheme. If he met an accident while working and the company has lodged claim with Socso. The maximum rate payable by Socso is RM78.60 per day. My question is whether the employer is obliged to pay for the difference between his daily pay and the socso claim amount. Is there any case law relating to this similar incidence.
Thank you.
