Company is end of business, the employee suing for compensation tours

I am work as manager in one of the company, all the salary and employment affair is the responsible I work with this company.

Come to case, one of the shop is closed, now my employee is asking for paying their 3 month salary for  (losing job).

My question is it this reasonable? Am I going paid them as fees for losing job? How is the compensation charge?

I just feeling no fair because the shop closed is not my busnines....

First, I would suggest you read up the Employment(Termination and Layoff Benefits) Regulations and then go personally to the local Labour Department and get some official advice.
