Dear sir / madam, sincerely would like to seek your advice.

I am currently managing a sales team and the company just decided tomorrow will be my last day without any upfront notice.

Reason given was 'your replacement able to perform better'.

I have been reading but still unsure what is the difference between laid-off and termination

In my case, what will be a fair value for the company to compensate me?

Appreciate your answer or guidance to whom I can seek for advice.

Thanks.

What you can do now is to go personally to the Labour Department and make a complaint against the employer for terminating your service without notice and so on. However, if your salary is more than RM2000, you should instead go to the Industrial Relations Department and make a complaint there.

My employer compensated me 6 months basic pay.

But I am not concern about the money but my reputation. Do you think I should sue company? And can I?

You can go to the Industrial Relations Department to make a claim for reinstatement to say you want to be given back your job. Go there personally and get more details.
