giving 24 hour regisnation letter

I was actually wondering, if i was still under probation and not a confirmed staff yet, am i actually allowed to give a 24 hour notice? I have been in that company for 1 month and i have a better job offer now and am planning to leave this company.

If there is a clause about notice period for termination of service in your appointment letter, you have to follow it. If there is nothing mentioned, you will have to give a month notice. It does not matter you are confirmed or not.
