Commission entitlement

My contract as mortgage Consultant was not renewed and was told verbally (after I asked) by my direct superior and my contract should be on 24th June 2014 as stated as per my contract.I have questioned about my unpaid commission and she only informed me that I would not be eligible for it. I have brought this matter to the hr dept as well as regional directorAnd finally, the hr manager agreed to compensate me as there is no such regulation stated in the employment letter for contract staff.However, they are now keep on delaying the compensation since last year Dec till now.Is there any way to deal with them in court? By the way, the amount we are talking is a small amount.

1. First, in your contract of service there must be something to say that commission is payable, how it is to be calculated and so on.

2. However, as you said the amount is small, you may approach the Labour Department see whether you can make a claim of it.
