Sick Leave can pro-rated ?

In case of resignation, can we pro-rated staff sick leave based on completed month of service? thank you.nora

No, sick leave is not supposed to be prorated. Entitlement is based on calendar year and not based on months of service.

thank you for the feedback.

For example, my staff overtook 1/2day leave and she is resigned.Can we deduct her wages 1/2day?

or it will fall under EA60E(1) where we need to disregarded the if any fraction less then 1/2days.

And  clause " if employee absenteeism exceed 10% of the working day during 12mnth  which his entitlement to annual leave accrues, he shall not be entitled to such leave"  

how its work? it will include annual leave only or can include sick leave?
