Resigned employee claims medical leave

Our company recently got one new staff who joined for 7 months and she has tendered resignation last month. Her last day supposed is 15/9/2016. Recently, she applied for 3 days MC. FYI, she claimed for 5 sick leaves before tendering. Her monthly salary RM2700. Could the company pro rated her sick leaves as per her serving months? She is new staff and her working service period is less then one calendar year.

If the sick leave entitlement is 14 days, prorating it will come about 8 days which is the entitlement for 7 months service.  As such, she has not exceeded her entitlement, isn't it?
