Sick / Medical Leave

I would like to check, if a new staff come in April and she has taken 3 days Medical leave,  company is given a pro rata Medical leave, means 14 days / 12 = 1.1 days.  The company only allow her to take 1.5 days of Medical leave instead of 3 days.

Is this right? Cause labour law didn't status this.  Can the staff report to labour law?

Sick is not supposed to be prorated. Give a call to the Labour Department to get official ruling so that you don't go against the law.
