Compensation for staff earning RM 2000

Hi Mr Siew.

i understand that employment act covers staff earning BELOW RM2000. And not RM2000 and above.

She is not a manual worker.

She has requested us to pay her 3 minutes of replacement off for every 1 minute of overtime worked as replacement off whenever she works on weekends. Our working days are Mon-Fri.

As an employer, we can decide the compensation, am I correct?

Is there any bare minimum for this scenario which we need to meet for employees not covered under the employment act?

For those 2k above + not employee under schedule 1, it will depend on the contract act mean company will nego a package to the employee.

If company agree then employee will get replacement

If company do not agree then company not need to pay
