Resignation and Pay Issue-Urgently

I still  under probation but I resigned  on 30 July 2019 with 1 month notice.So my last day is 29 August 2019. But 30 July is public holiday ,company request to work and will give 1 day replacement leave.So I replace holiday leave on 30 August 2019. Since I work for full month , should get full pay salary.But HR told me ,she will deduct pay 1 day for national day (31/8/19). It really too ridiculous.Can someone please advise ?Thank you .Much appreciate!

Just work only up to 30 August and leave and you should get paid up to 30/8. 31 Auguest holiday has nothing to do with your case as you are no longer an employee of the company, nothing to deduct.
