hi,

Below are the important content in the termination letter.

" The Management has carefully gone through the records of the inquiry, the revelant papers, documents and finding at the inquiry and concluded that the allegation agianst you has been sufficiently proven, The Management have also given due regards, for the circumstances surroundding the said allegation and your appeal.

The fact that you admmitted guilty due to your negaligence leading to the loss of supporting documents for the rental by XXX that was paid in cash of RM14754 and the stortage of cash float amount of RM14990.83 amounting to RM29744.83. As the Chief cashier entrusted with job requirement and responsiblity, you are hereby required to make good the shortage."

My question is :-

1. if there any right for the company ask the staff earn RM2700 to pay back the shortage since the company decided terminate him?

2. if this valid for a company ask him sign a repayment instalment form to pay back the shortage to cover all the shortage ?

thanks.

Anything we can for this

1. The company can ask you to pay back the money but it is up to you whether you agree to pay or not.

2. But, it would be better for you not to give any undertaking in writing or if you really have no choice since they did not say whether they would sack you, you can try asking to pay back with small amount of instalments that you can afford to pay.

hi

Another content is the termination letter.

" Due to the seriousness of the said negligence, the Management have no alternative other than to dismiss you from employment with effective from 22/09/19."

Any advise?

My advice is that you should personally go to the Industrial Relations Department and discuss the issues with the officer there and get some official advice.
