resign within 24months of contract working need pay 3months salary

start work in 1sep09

1. 7 staffs working in one room but only one air con but the air con already long time no service.

after 11am then can open another aircon but still hot and not enough breathing.

 

2. because of the not enough breath need to have panadol during the working days and minyak kapak to reduce the headache.

(mean u earn money also not enough to see doctor and health cannot buy with money)

 

3. need to provide on stationery, punch, staples, ring file, calculator.

(if other better provide own other things if wan la. but if can provide everything urself la.)

 

4. u had sign an appointment letter say, minimum contract 2years no probation 3months, if within 24months resign need pay 3 months SALARY not notice. if company not satisfied wit ur poor work they also can terminate u with 3mths salary.

(but who want to work poor cuz already know how to work ma, plus where got a stupid bos want to give 3months salary pay for just poor work)

 

5. the kitchen and toilet together jz a small room. kitchen no water to wash hand, no drinking water. the toilet no pipe water only wash hand water in toilet. the flush also rosak need use pail to fill water then flush. not very hygience.

 

6. the bos want his staffs to work like hell if got gaji above rm1500. must finish the company account as many as can.

 

wat u think??? give me some suggestion what sud my fren do???

You mean there is no mention of notice period for termination of service except for the payment of 3 months salary? If that is correct, the it is not right. Under the Employment Act, an employee can terminate the contract of service at any time by giving written notice. Since notice period was not mentioned, for new staff it will be 4 weeks notice as stated in Section 12 of the EA. In order to make sure you are doing the right thing, bring along a copy of the contract of service and consult the Labour Department.

About working enironment, sometimes it pays to check out the company before you join. Before the interview, look around the place, talking to the staff when there is an opportunity. Ask to go to the rest room and so on. Otherwise, one can end up working in unpleasant environment.
