disciplinary action on late coming

Hi, Mr Siew,

would like to seek your advice regarding displinary action on staff who come in late work.

we have issued 3 warning letters to a few staff who have been coming in late for work frequently. the staff concerned continued to come in late after the 3rd warning letter.

we intend to issue show cause letters to them.  would like to know whether we can terminate their employment after show cause letter.  we are a small company with only 13 staff.  The HR function is handled by the director himself.

Better hold a domestic inquiry and if he is found guilty then decide on the type of penalty to be given to him, as stated in Section 14 of the EA.
