Not Recognize Public Holiday

Hi, my company's location is in Selangor. I found out that the following days are not holiday by my company.
1. Nurul Al-Quran - 27 Aug (Selangor, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Terengganu only)
2. Malaysia Day - 16 Sep (National)
I got checked with my HR. They told me that this holidays are not recognize by company because government set min 10 days in a year must be holiday for staff. and my company got reserve 16 days in a year (including holiday for different state), so this 2 days are not recognize only. My company didnt give any replacement leave or OT (my salary is above RM1500 too).
i'm wondering whether this is all true. hope you can give some advice.

Under the Employment Act, employers must provide at least 10 public holidays. They need not provide all public holidays. I suggest you read up the Employment Act for knowledge in this area.
