Hi All, 

New to the forum and was wondering if someone can help clear my doubts

I work for a MNC company (Australian owned) they are going to Retrenchment a department (me included)

But will offer some a position over at the other country (Australia), my question is what if we really don't want to move all the way to australia? do they then still have to follow the Retrenchment benefit? or can they just treat it as termination and just give us our notice period?
