short notice of resignation

Hi,
In my appointment letter got mention that 1 mth notice or salary in lieu of notice. (salary RM1,700.00 as office asst)
Now my problem is i tender the resignation letter on 19.08.10 and want leave on 31.08.10. I still got 7 day annual leave as at 31.08.10.
So, how much i need to pay back to company or they can no pay my aug salary at all?

You may have to pay back 18 days salary for short notice. If you can offset it with 7 days annual leave, you still have to pay another 11 days salary.

Thanks for early reply.
Just want to double confirm one thing, are i should pay back include sunday and public holiday.

Yes, include Sunday and PH as you are no longer the employee of the company after 31/8.
