Hi,
I would like to ask regarding 16th September 2010. Is it confirmed a compulsory public holiday?
if employee working on that day, do they get different charges or replacement leave?
Is there any law to be refer?

hi,
i had call the labour department, the Officer told me that 16th Sept should be compulsory public holiday so company can chose either replace holiday on others normal day or pay triple if work on that day. On 2010 onwards, the gazetted public holiday will become 11days . Do u have a example of holiday list for 2010 or 2011?

HI, administrator, can i get the sure answer about the 16 September 2010 whether today is the compusory public holiday?
This is because i working now. However,i ask my boss whether today can get double or triple, he also had not idea about this.
